Raffaella Zavalloni was born in 1956 in Savignano sul Rubicone, Italy. She now works and in Cesena.
She is self-taught and has been drawing and painting since childhood. She studied philosophy at the University of Bologna, designed and made theater costumes, published naturalist guides of plants and animals, and painted tapestries. For about ten years corrugated cardboard has been the focus of her artistic research.
I visited Raffaella at her home and Gallery in Cesena (Italy) last weekend and I was impressed by her artistic, creativity and imagination.
